Contemporary transformation
Year constructed: 2006

Changes in structural needs related to interior spaces led to consequences extending as far as the façade. Window formats were adapted and the façade insulation was enhanced. Expanded window size, a common feature in today’s construction, was employed to augment the distinctive visual impact of the home’s position on the edge of the slope. Worthy of note in this context are the use of different materials with different tactile properties and the detailing applied to plastered surfaces and wood structures.
