The change in room height within the living/dining area has converted this space together with its hearth into the residence’s centrepiece, conveying the basic architectural concept. The clear restraint displayed by the interior design is impressive. The light colouring of the built-in furniture contrasts with the knotty oak plank flooring; the walls are finished with a scuffed surface, and individual wall surfaces have been painted.
